The slightly dusty yellow colour was a true hit on the red carpet at the Golden Globe 2016 a week ago and while celebrities like Jennifer Lopez showed us how to rock it on a red carpet, here at The Lie by JPZ we surely know how to wear it any day! Our statement ruffled coat from Fall Winter 2015/2016 collection is an absolute stunner, a true statement piece, that will elevate any look. I love it, wear it all the time and here is an example of an elegant, yet still edgy look for a busy working day. I pried it with extremely cool leather skirt, also from FW 15/16 collection and black and white satin blouse from our SS 15 collection. My Personal Style: Glamorous In Red With A Touch Of Silver December 31 2015, 3 Comments

What are holidays for? Ever since I’m a little girl, holidays always meant for me hosting friends and family, eating good food (a looot of sweets), decorating apartment and dressing up in festive and glamorous outfits. Today is no different... I still love and do all that, except that when it comes down to dressing up, well, I do it in an even more glamorous way. To be honest, Christmas dinners and NYEs, when celebrated indoor, are the perfect occasion for every woman to wear long evening gown with some sparkling jewellery. It's the time, when no one can be overdressed, it's the time, when you can really go for a Hollywood glamour, have no bad feeling about it and - really enjoy it! I certainly always do.

Throughout the years as a designer, I came to realize that every woman, no matter the body figure, age or personal style, knows how to wear an evening gown. Yes ladies, we have this in our DNA! And if you haven't tried it yet, do it, because it feels absolutely amazing.

One of my favourites for NYE is definitely long red gown (for a lot of luck in the coming year) and silver accessories for an extremely glamorous touch!

Whether you live in a big city or a small snowy town, chances are that temperatures are very low at this time of year, making us rely on super warm coats, scarves, boots and - here come's the best part - hats! Yes, here at The Lie by JPZ we absolutely love chill weather, because this is when you get the chance to wear all kinds of hats.

Valley of Fire is located near Las Vegas in state of Nevada and it derives its name from red sandstone formations, formed from great shifting sand dunes during the age of dinosaurs, 150 million years ago. Complex uplifting and faulting of the region, followed by extensive erosion, have created the beautiful, super photogenic landscape. And so it was a must to make some beautiful editorial pictures there. Blue sky and red rocks were just calling for a white contrast, such as this chic ensemble of stone embellished jacket and long mermaid skirt. 
Looking for a winter wedding dress? This look is absolutely perfect, since the jacket has long sleeves, not to mention the fact that you will look absolutely stunning and innovative, going for a long evening skirt, matched with peplum jacket. Love to wear some retro inspired outfits for the sea side strolls. An urban Beach Blanket Bingo (which is an American International Pictures beach party film, released in 1965, directed by William Asher) was my inspiration this time so a high-waisted, 60’s-inspired silhouette was a must, created by these cool jeans shorts. I paired them with colourful bikini bralet, lots of jewellery and aviators. And the key essentials to complement the look were of course The Lie by JPZ turban and this super cute clutch from patent python effect leather.

My Personal Style: Accessorized On the Beach August 23 2015, 9 Comments

Who doesn’t like to frolic in the sun in their bikini or one piece? And which fashionista doesn’t like to spice it up a bit (or a lot) with some beautiful statements? There is certainly a wide range of accessories, that I love to use on the bech – bags, belts, sunnies and jewellery.
Ladies, which go for a conservative look, a delicate silver or golden pendant necklace will both add a little extra something to your look. But, if you want to get more glam, be daring and load up on chunky jewels like our The Lie by JPZ silver body chain and leather cuffs in metallic silver hue.
Do not be afraid to use belts on the beach – I love to wear them with my sarongs, to emphasize my waist, but sometimes, I love to pair most special ones also with one piece swimsuit, especially for a late afternoon and night of cocktails under the moonlight. Though heels are not very practical for the beach, do change your favourite daytime flats for a stunning pair of sandals for a cocktail party on the beach and seriously kick up the glam factor!

Oh yes, red is definitely hot. I guess it is hard to go wrong with all red look, when styled well. Red is the original power colour, and wearing it is a sign of confidence. It is the color of energy, passion and action. You just have to love summer... All the freedom and craziness with patterns, textures and colours, when it comes down to dressing up is just splendid. As much as I like monochromatic looks, I also love to mix and match, creating looks, for which you would normally think they'll never work... So I paired our striped skirt from SS 2015 collection, colourful multi tassel necklace, fuchsia belt and our new straw bag with leather fringes and wool pom poms, with colourful blouse and citron Lance Jimmy Choo sandals for a bright, chic & lil' bit crazy Sunday!

My Personal Style: Scrolling Down The Red Rock Valley In Whites and Blues July 09 2015, 5 Comments

This time I am posting the series of pictures, taken in gorgeous Red Rock Valley - in my beloved city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Gorgeous red mountains were just calling for some retro inspired whites and blues... And baby blue Mustang was an absolute must. You see, adding a nice white midi to your wardrobe will be a truly good investment -proving versatile beyond all expectations. Seriously, it is extremely difficult to find something it doesn't quite work with. White midi looks good with pretty much everything, from crop top to simple stripped tees, denim jackets, shirts and white button downs. It is a perfect little summer skirt to wear day or night and to dress up or down! And, naturally, we just love those statement pieces that work with just about everything in your closet, right?
